MyScribe eBook Reader User's Guides

In January 2009, DeVry is moving to a new reader for its eBooks-instead of Adobe Reader, we will use MyScribe.  Accompanying this reader are some functional features collectively called CaféScribe.  This new software will make using the eBook in your courses easier.  To learn more about the MyScribe software, please take a few minutes to access the guides below.

Using MyScribe Portable From Your Flash Drive on Campus

Please note that you will be allowed to download the book only 3 times, so we recommend you download your texts to a flash drive (MyScribe recommends one with at least 2 gigs of memory), so that you can use your book anywhere you want.  If you have more than one eBook this session, please get two flash drives or a flash drive with at least 4 gigs of memory.  It is easy to install the software and the text, but if you need help, you can contact the IT Helpdesk at 630-652-8767.
