 SENIOR DAYS

Graduation is an exciting time! In order to make your final term as stress free as possible, the Registrar, Student Finance, and Career Services offices sponsor Senior Days. Senior Days is a campus event that provides students with an opportunity to confirm graduation eligibility, pick up honor cords (if applicable), order their cap & gown with Jostens, pick up Veteran/Military cords (if applicable), and attend a loan exit interview. Senior Days will be held during the following dates and times this term:

Tuesday, May 8th & Thursday, May 10th

Saturday, May 12th
8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Students have the option to come in on one of the three days that is accommodating to their personal schedules, but are required to schedule their loan exit interview sessions with the Student Finance Office in advance. Please call Student Finance at (630) 652-8481 the week prior to the event.

Loan exit interview sessions are available during the following times:

All U.S. students and students who are residents of Alberta, Canada must complete exit loan counseling when they are graduating. Failure to complete exit counseling may result in a hold on students' records.

DIPLOMAS & HONORS

All students will receive their diplomas by mail 6 to 8 weeks after the end of the term. If your address or name changes prior to graduation it is the responsibility of the graduate to notify the Registrar's Office in writing of the change.

As grades are not available until after graduation, honor are determined by a student's GPA in the term prior to their final term; all students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in the term prior to their graduating term will receive honor cords. Honor cords will be distributed during Senior Days. If you were not able to make it to Senior Days on campus, please contact the Career Services office to request that honor cords be brought to the graduation ceremony for you.

NOTES:

  • Your final transcript and diploma will show any changes in your honors status
  • All potential graduates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in order to graduate
  • Participation in the graduation ceremony does not guarantee your being a graduate
