HerWorld

Even as opportunities have grown for women in business, science and media technology, many young women remain unaware of these careers. Targeted at young women, this all-day conference is designed to educate and excite high school girls about rewarding careers in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math). Each year, DeVry University joins forces with companies and organizations who share our mission of increasing the number of young women who consider non-traditional careers in these fields. Through discussions and hands-on activities led by leading female professional role models, participants will be challenged to employ creative-thinking skills in a team-based environment that promotes career exploration and growth. At the end of the day, our goal is to have students walk away with new inspirations and the confidence that no career is out of their reach.
