Employer Services

There are many ways to tap into the talent available at DeVry! The Career Services staff helps employers in their search for suitable employees by connecting them with our current students, recent graduates and alumni. Services offered to businesses include on campus recruiting, career fairs, the co-op program and senior projects. In addition, the Career Services office maintains a strong relationship with businesses through our advisory boards, inviting employers to be guest speakers at Career Development classes, and in welcoming ongoing feedback through our recruiting efforts.

Matching Employers with Graduates
Finding a qualified person to fill a position is not always an easy task. The Career Services Office at DeVry University not only assists students in their job search, but is also a major resource for companies seeking to fill open positions within their organizations.

Services offered to companies include:
* Posting of available positions on our online job database
* Access to upcoming and recent graduates
* Co-op Program, Internships and Senior Project sponsorship
* On-Campus Interviews with private interviewing rooms
* Invitations to our tri-annual on-campus career fairs

We encourage you to utilize these services, which are offered to support the recruiting process of your organization. DeVry graduates three classes per year (February, June, and October), so there are always new graduates eagerly entering the work force. For employers seeking candidates with more experience, we also maintain experienced level positions for self-referrals by our alumni and Keller graduate population.

Job Postings
The Career Services Office will assist you in finding full-time or part-time candidates to meet your staffing needs.

If you are a representative of a company who is looking for qualified individuals to fill a position currently open, please feel free to e-mail us your job opportunities at jpacanowski@devry.edu (please include job title, responsibilities, qualifications and application instructions) or call our Employer Liaison, Janet Pacanowski at 630-652-8608 to inform us about your opportunities. In the event that the position(s) that you have available are education related, an advisor will subsequently post the position and forward on applicable resumes to you for review.

Career Fairs
If you would like to participate in an upcoming Career Fair, contact Career Services at 630-652 8601. These events provide an excellent way to increase company name recognition, allow students to develop networking skills and encourage business-student relationships.

On Campus Recruiting
To schedule an on-campus recruiting date, contact the Career Services Office for details. You can choose from open-sign up from interested candidates or preselection of candidates from resumes forwarded to you in advance. It is recommended that you make arrangements at least two weeks in advance of the date you want to interview.

Advisory Board
In its ongoing effort to foster the partnership between business and education, DeVry sponsors industrial Advisory Boards. These curriculum specific boards consist of representatives from companies who frequently hire grads, the faculty, admissions representatives, and the career advisor assigned to that curriculum.

The Advisory Board provides a unique opportunity to integrate knowledge from all of these areas. New members to the board are added by invitation only.
