Co-Op and Senior Project

Co-op:
This program is designed to give students education-related work experience while enrolled at DeVry. We receive job openings for both full and part-time positions, thus allowing work schedules convenient to both employer and student.

Electronics & Computer Technology (ECT) and Network Systems Administration (NSA)students are eligible for Co-Op after their second term, while most other students are eligible beginning their 4th term. These eligibility requirements allow for certain coursework to be completed before participation in the program as outlined below.

Attention ECT and EET Students!

Did you know that the Addison campus has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) for their Technical Operations Collegiate Training Initiative (TO-CTI)? The TO-CTI utilizes specific FAA approved colleges for the purposes of recruiting students enrolled in technical curriculums.

Interested?
Students who are interested in participating in the program must enroll in an FAA approved AF-CTI school prior to applying for the program. Applicants must complete the Federal Application for Employment, SF-171, or OF-612. Both forms can be found at the following website:

Senior Project:
Another option for obtaining education-related work experience is students Senior projects. These are coordinated by the Academic Dean of each program. Students receive 3 to 4 credit hours for this work as well as invaluable experience. The client benefits by having a team of consultants complete a project to their specifications. There is no cost to the host company for this program.
