The Co-op Program

The co-op program is designed to give students education-related work experience while enrolled at DeVry. Students receive assistance in creating a professional resume, conducting a search for co-op positions and better understanding the job market for their field. Co-op students will gain access to an online job database and have the opportunity to have their resume distributed to area employers for consideration for part-time education-related positions.

Students are eligible for the co-op program once they are half-way through their degree program (approximately 3rd term for associate degree programs and 4th term for bachelor's degree programs). These eligibility requirements allow for certain coursework to be completed before participation in the program; each student's academic history will be reviewed in order to determine final eligibility/acceptance into the program.

Applications for the co-op program are available in the Career Services Office - Room 229 or below. Students wishing to learn more information about the program should contact their assigned Career Advisor or stop by our office.
